I am super proud of myself. I finished both books I set out to finish while home for the holidays - The Anubis Gates and A Nameless Witch. After which I had to do my post-read ritual of update my Goodreads shelves and sigh over how far away I am from my reading challenge goal.
2015 Reading Challenge
Gwen has
read 43 books toward her goal of 50 books.
Not as bad as I expected, but I guess I'm just a little miffed because I met my goal last year and I didn't meet my goals for the PopSugar Challenge either. Ah, oh well. I still enjoyed my reading adventure this year.
I'm always impressed by how long I spend on Goodreads when I visit - it's worse than bookstores because there's more to browse through, but it does make it hard for impulse buys which is nice. I simply put things on my TBR list all the time, and maybe that should be a New Years Resolution - knock 15 books off that list. Because I know other things will cross my lap that I'll dive in to.
I want to do another challenge reading list, I know there's one that's one per American State that always sounded fascinating to me. However, I want to do something doable. One per State is out obviously, I can't do 50 books a year, but what's something you guys have had success with in the past?
It's hard to read when there are so many other things going on, and you've had a busy year! I hope you have a wonderful 2016 :-)
