There were lots of cars, obviously, but I think the most interesting was comparing values across brands. And sitting in the seats of really expensive cars that I will never, ever be able to afford. It's kinda like having a flyby view of a star, you walking into the restroom as they're walking out. I can now say I've once sat in a $100K+ car. And snuck my hand out to caress the chassis of a car behind a display. What can I say, I've been looking at Audi R8 Spyders for years ^_^

I have a car that works and no plans to by a new one, but it's just fun to look. I mean, who can ignore big, shiny things?
Years ago I worked for an insurance company and got to go to the Earls Court Motor Show in London. Like you, I had loads of fun sitting in the cars I would never be able to afford (I can't even drive). I felt like a little kid :-)
ReplyDeleteNow that looks a nice car!
ReplyDeleteI've never been an auto show either, but it looks like something right up my hubby's alley :)
ReplyDeleteI've never been inspired by cars. I have a Ford Fiesta (enough said!) and am very happy with it. Mind you I did once sit in a sports car in a car showroom and something inside me stirred... then I looked at the price tag and I went right off it!
